Terms & Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing our website, booking our services, or submitting a contact form, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services. Please also review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your information.

2. Our Services

Safe Drive Napa provides designated driver and wine concierge services in Napa Valley and surrounding areas, including Sonoma and Healdsburg. Our services include:

  • Chauffeured driving in your rental car or our Tesla Model X

  • Winery and restaurant reservation booking on your behalf

  • Pre-curated and custom wine tour itineraries

  • Pickup and drop-off at your hotel or accommodation

3. Bookings & Deposits

  • No deposit is required to secure your booking

  • Your date is secured once confirmation is given by the customer and all winery reservations have been completed

  • Your full balance is charged only after your experience is complete

  • Confirming your booking secures your date, subject to driver availability

4. Pricing

  • There is a 6-hour minimum per booking

  • For multi-day bookings, the 6-hour minimum applies to each individual day of service

  • Bookings under the 6-hour minimum are still billed for the full 6 hours. Time beyond 6 hours is billed at the standard hourly rate based on vehicle type (your vehicle or ours)

  • Driving your rental car or personal vehicle: $60 per hour

  • Driving our Tesla Model X: $120 per hour

  • Driving our Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon: $220 per hour

  • Pricing is the same year-round including weekends and holidays

  • There are no additional fees for tolls, parking, or reservations

  • Billed time runs continuously from pickup to final drop-off at the guest's hotel or accommodation — the clock does not stop at the last winery or restaurant stop, and driving time back to the final destination is included in the total hours billed

  • Billed hours include all time the driver is on standby during your experience — including wait time at wineries, restaurants, or other stops — as the driver remains present and available throughout

  • Gratuity is optional — tip options of 15%, 20%, and 25% are available at the end of your experience. 100% of all tips go directly to your driver.

5. Payment

  • Your full balance is charged after your experience is complete

  • We accept credit and debit cards through Squarespace (online) and Square (in person)

  • Tips may be paid in cash or by credit or debit card

  • All payments are processed securely

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Availability

  • If a guest is running late to a scheduled winery or restaurant reservation, Safe Drive Napa does not charge any additional fees. However, the guest's arrival is subject to the winery or restaurant's own policies regarding late arrivals, including possible reservation cancellation or continued charges — these policies are set by the third party and outside our control. We will make every effort to contact the winery or restaurant to adjust timing, but cannot guarantee accommodation. If a delay is anticipated (e.g. due to travel disruptions), please notify us as soon as possible along with your preferred new time, and we will do our best to accommodate

  • We ask that customers cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours notice. Changes made with less notice, or at any time, will still be accommodated to the best of our ability

  • Cancellations or no-shows may result in cancellation of any winery reservations coordinated as part of your itinerary. Wineries set their own cancellation policies and fees, which are separate from and unaffiliated with Safe Drive Napa

  • If you need to cancel due to a documented family or health emergency, contact us as soon as possible — we will do our best to accommodate rescheduling and minimize disruption to your coordinated winery reservations

  • A no-show is defined as the customer not responding or arriving at the scheduled pickup location within 45 minutes of the scheduled pickup time

  • If Safe Drive Napa is unable to accommodate a confirmed booking due to driver availability, we will notify the customer as soon as possible and work to offer an alternate date, time, or driver

  • Pricing for packages and custom itineraries is subject to change until a booking is confirmed

7. Winery & Restaurant Reservations

  • All winery and restaurant reservations are subject to availability

  • Safe Drive Napa will make every effort to secure your preferred stops

  • If a requested winery or restaurant is unavailable, we will suggest an equally exceptional alternative and will not finalize your itinerary without your approval

  • We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, and a month or more in advance for high-end wineries or during peak season

8. Vehicle Policy

  • Safe Drive Napa can drive your rental car or personal vehicle, or any of our cars if available

  • Our Tesla Model X seats up to 5 guests, not including the driver

  • Our Mercedes Benz G-Wagon seats up to 4 guests, not including the driver

  • Guests of all ages are welcome; guests under 21 are not permitted to participate in winery tastings but are welcome to join the experience

  • Outside food is permitted in both vehicles — we ask that you help keep our cars clean. Open containers of alcohol are not permitted inside the vehicle at any time; unopened/sealed alcohol may be transported in the trunk or another inaccessible area

  • Alcohol purchased during your experience will be stored in the trunk between stops

  • Guests who have worked with a driver previously may request that driver again for future bookings, subject to availability. For new reservations, drivers are assigned based on availability

  • A cleaning fee of up to $200 may apply for excessive mess or spills, with wine or food stains on the higher end

  • Only service animals are permitted in the vehicle

  • Smoking and vaping are not permitted in any vehicle

9. Lost or Left-Behind Items
Safe Drive Napa is not responsible for items left behind in the vehicle. If an item is found, we will make reasonable efforts to contact the guest and return it. Shipping costs to return any left-behind item are the responsibility of the guest.

10. Guest Behavior Policy
Safe Drive Napa reserves the right to end any experience immediately and without refund if a guest engages in disruptive, dangerous, or inappropriate behavior — including but not limited to excessive intoxication that poses a safety risk, verbal or physical aggression toward the driver or others, or behavior that results in removal from a winery or restaurant. In such cases, your full balance will still be charged.

11. Force Majeure
Safe Drive Napa shall not be held liable for cancellations, delays, or failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control — including but not limited to natural disasters, wildfires, road closures, extreme weather conditions, government-mandated restrictions, or other unforeseen events. In such cases, Safe Drive Napa will make every effort to reschedule your experience. Since no payment is collected until your experience is complete, no charges will apply if we're unable to perform the service. Safe Drive Napa is also not responsible for delays, missed tastings, or missed reservations resulting from a guest's late arrival at the scheduled departure time.

12. Alcohol Consumption & Age Requirements
Safe Drive Napa provides transportation and concierge services only and is not responsible for guests' alcohol consumption or any behavior resulting from alcohol consumption during the experience. All guests participating in winery tastings must be at least 21 years of age and must comply with each winery's policies regarding alcohol service. Safe Drive Napa is not responsible for verifying guest ages or for any winery's decision to refuse service to any guest. Safe Drive Napa is not responsible for any illness, injury, or adverse health effects experienced by guests before, during, or after the experience — including but not limited to illness resulting from alcohol consumption, motion sickness, or any pre-existing health conditions. Guests assume full responsibility for their own health and wellbeing throughout the experience.

13. Photo & Content Release
Safe Drive Napa will always ask for your verbal consent before photographing or filming any part of your experience. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, simply let your driver know and we will fully respect your wishes. By providing verbal consent you grant Safe Drive Napa permission to use those images or videos for marketing and promotional purposes without compensation.

14. Liability

  • Safe Drive Napa and all of our drivers are fully insured.

  • Safe Drive Napa is not responsible for the actions, policies, or availability of third-party wineries or restaurants.

  • Safe Drive Napa is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury that occurs on the premises of any winery, restaurant, or other third-party location.

  • By booking our services you acknowledge that wine consumption is at your own discretion and responsibility.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Napa County, California.

16. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website with a new effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
